"Full Bleed is a more experimental turn for Paul Wolinski following his more song structured work as POLINSKI and numerous albums, movie scores and one-off performances with 65daysofstatic. Full Bleed is an all together different kind of record, a move into bleaker, more experimental territory. The digital glitches have been subsumed by analog tape hiss; the kick drums have been eaten by white noise; tempos have become atemporal. Pianos topple over themselves, lost in a hail of interference/distortion pedals, not sure if they’re being played by a human or robot, whilst badly-built MIDI systems spit out melodies before crashing whatever laptop they’re running on."
