Το 'Julia with blue jeans on', η εκπληκτικά συγκινητική τρίτη κυκλοφορία του Spencer Krug ως Moonface περιέχει δέκα νοσταλγικά ρομαντικές, ποιητικά ονειροπόλες διηγήσεις που αντιφεγγίζουν τη σημασία της αγάπης μέσα από φλογερά γεγονότα και μνήμες και διαποτίζονται με τη ζεστασιά της γλαφυρής ερμηνείας του και τα έντονα συναισθήματα που ξεχειλίζουν οι μελωδίες του πιάνου.
Spencer Krug: "These songs share common themes of love, self-acceptance, acceptance of others, the idea of home, the idea of forgiveness. In general, it’s a more optimistic thing than I've ever done before. I think the way I’ve been writing songs for the last couple of years has been slowly steering in the direction of using more streamlined and simplified language, less fantastical metaphors. I’m trying to just embrace that and not fight it, and just go with those impulses."
